British Columbia has the most expensive cigarettes in Canada, a carton hits $155-$180 in Vancouver and Victoria once BC’s steep tobacco tax and sales tax are added. That also makes BC the province where native cigarettes save you the most: $29.99 a carton delivered is a saving of well over $120 per carton versus the corner store.
Cigarette prices in British Columbia: retail vs native
A carton of 200 name-brand cigarettes costs about $155-$180 at retail in British Columbia. The same-size carton of native cigarettes is $29.99 at Native Discount Smokes. For a pack-a-day smoker, that’s roughly $6,000 saved per year. See the full price breakdown for every province.
Because BC is the farthest province from where native cigarettes are manufactured, delivery takes a little longer, but for the biggest per-carton saving in the country, most BC customers happily wait a few extra days. Orders ship discreetly with tracking to Vancouver, Victoria, the Interior and Vancouver Island.
